OH—after reading the comments this morning, I don't think I'm worthy of decluttering the books! Ever since I was little, my mom taught us that books are precious. And YES - they are, but that doesn't mean you need to own all of them. Or if you buy something, you don't need to keep it! ACK!! I'm in big trouble.

I am glad to hear I'm not the only one who lived through "hardships" as a kid. Life was certainly different if you lived in the country or a small town, and probably also the geographical location. I think it developed a certain resiliency in us!!!

Sylvia's Bridal Sampler resurrected! from Crazy Quilter on a Bike!

I'm fired up!! Today is the first day this year that I'm off on an away-from-home adventure! And it's almost the end of March. However, I'm going to make up for that, as I have several trips on the horizon in April.

In case they missed it in the comments (the two post-op knee people are now chatting to each other), and we have a retired orthopedic nurse amongst the readers—get an icing machine. I've heard that from other people as well. I hope I never need one, but apparently, they are the best thing since sliced bread for recovery!

Over lapjes, 'n B&B, quilts, lapjes en collega's,...." from Supergoof Quilts

Even een terugkijkje op wat er zo al is gebeurd de afgelopen week,...

Het voor de liefhebbers bekende groene karretje,

dat vol zat met scrapzakjes met groene lapjes,

dàt is een bloemenkarretje geworden,

dat nu gezellig buiten staat.

En als je dan naar buiten kijkt,

dan ziet dat er zo uit,...

Een bloemig buitenkijkje.

En de groene scrapzakjes?

Die zitten nu in een rieten mand.

Verder is de toonbank uitgebreid.

Ik had wat meer ruimte nodig om,

én van alles op te zetten,

én wat meer loopruimte te hebben achter de toonbank,

die tevens ook afgesloten is,

zodat de allerkleinste ...
